A thousand spectators for the night of the Corsa alla Stella

The first nighttime edition of the Corsa alla Stella was a success, with 59 participants from all over Sardinia, 16 riders registered from Lanusei , and around a thousand people flocking to the San Cosimo racetrack on Saturday evening. The race was thrilling: first place went to Marta Chelucci of Lanusei, second place went to Matteo Arba of Muravera, and third place went to Gianni Liperi of Ploaghe.

The organizers, the Lanusei Knights Association, of which Simone Ferreli is president and spokesperson, were recognized for their dedication. "We would like to express our satisfaction with the success of the event and thank everyone who supported us, especially our families and all the sponsors. The equestrian world in Lanusei is in excellent health, and we strive to maximize the potential of our organization."

The equestrian movement in Lanusei is in excellent health. This is demonstrated by the existence of two associations: the Lanusei Equestrian Association , which organizes the August Palio, one of the longest-running events in Sardinia and, needless to say, a success this year as well; and the Lanusei Knights Association, whose board of directors is composed of Giuseppe Bassu, Michele Usai, Luca Usai, Mauro Ligas, Simone Ferreli, Angelo Agus, Alessandro Piroddi, Marco Marongiu, and Massimiliano Esposito.
