Two robberies in ten days in the Oristano area: concern is growing

Carabinieri of the provincial command of Oristano and of the company of Ghilarza at work to try to give a face to the robbers who within ten days scored two hits : on October 5 in Paulilatino and on Friday 14 in Norbello.

In the first case, two criminals armed with Kalashnikovs broke into the post office and then ran away with 25 thousand euros. Yesterday in Norbello a robber armed with a pistol first had 70 euros delivered by a customer, then the contents of the cash box at the counter. Again at the post office. Two episodes that inevitably aroused concern in the communities of the Upper Oristano area.

The mayor of Norbello Matteo Manca and the deputy mayor of Paulilatino Serafino Oppo affirm that there is a lot of apprehension also for the fact that the episodes have repeated themselves in a short period of time.

Meanwhile, the investigators are analyzing the ways in which the two robberies were carried out and, in light of the results, the prefect Fabrizio Stelo will convene the provincial safety committee.
