Two people found a forgotten ATM card at a vending machine and used it to make purchases: two reported in Bolotana

After filling up at a gas station, an elderly man forgot his debit card inside the vending machine . A moment of inattention was enough for two men to steal it and use it improperly.

The incident occurred in Bolotana , where the Carabinieri of the local station, coordinated by the Ottana Company Command, were able to quickly trace the identity of the two individuals, both residents in the area, thanks to the analysis of the city's video surveillance systems .

The two were reported for misuse of a payment card after making purchases worth approximately €100 at a local merchant . The elderly man alerted the police as soon as he noticed the missing ATM card and several suspicious transactions.
