Twelve reports and a 4,500 euro fine for the serial soiler of Monserrato
A trader was exposed by two plainclothes officers as he spread excrement off his bike at 6am

He traveled a road between the center and the suburbs of Monserrato by bicycle, at 6 in the morning, with his face covered by a scarf so as not to be identified by the cameras scattered along the way. Also because his action wasn't all that noble: he spread animal excrement and not only on the sidewalk and in the park area of via Porto Botte, where the children play.
But two plainclothes agents of the municipal police led by commander Massimiliano Zurru and the Nogra volunteers unmasked the serial dauber, given that it had become practice. MF, a 78-year-old trader, was fined 12 sentences and 4,500 euros. The elderly man was reported to the competent authorities for environmental crimes.
"I am very sorry for what happened and why the person in question is involved," says Mayor Tomaso Locci. «I see it as an act of contempt for my administration, because that park had been restored with great effort. The operators were then accused of not cleaning».
