" Cagliari is a safe city, but we have noticed a series of episodes of violence among young people and petty thefts in the center. This pushes us to always be very careful and never let our guard down": said the mayor of Cagliari, Paolo Truzzu, who this morning in the town hall met the new provincial commander of the carabinieri, General Luca Corbellotti, who since his recent inauguration has started a series of meetings with local institutions.

At Palazzo Bacaredda, a note from the Municipality reads, various issues were addressed: "From the episodes of violence that, in the days of nightlife, mainly involved young people, to the issues related to drugs , with some neighborhoods that are at the center of a constant monitoring ".

For the mayor, “ we don't have big problems . We are working a lot on the waste issue and trying to match the needs of those who want to have fun at the weekend with those of residents in historic districts. Cagliari is a safe city ”.

"The bar of danger", confirmed General Corbellotti, "is currently low and we will work to keep it at these levels because we want Cagliari to remain a quiet and safe city".
