It's called Trexenta Experience , and translates into a journey to rediscover the area. Strongly desired by the Union of Municipalities, the absolute protagonist is the visitor who, through various stages – lasting two months – will be involved in an emotional, sensorial, historical, environmental, but also physical and intellectual experience.

The route, designed for weekend appointments, crosses and involves the towns of Senorbì, Ortacesus, Siurgus Donigala, Pimentel, Suelli, Guasila, Gesico, Selegas and Guamaggiore .
"Trexenta Experience" aims at enhancing archaeological resources, at what is called "slow" and quality tourism and which relies on the strength of culture, festivals and religious rites and tradition, be it musical, culinary, or typical customs and traditions. In summary: an innovative cultural evolution of tourist use, where the guest becomes the main active actor thanks to unforgettable experiences, in the suggestive archaeological sites.

In fact, the event will take place in the archaeological sites of the historical region of central-southern Sardinia, characterized by fertile hills where cereal cultivation, olive groves and vineyards prevail. The archaeological heritage of the territories will thus become the ideal stage for the rediscovery of Trexenta through ancient crafts, traditional Sardinian craft and cooking workshops, tastings accompanied by ancestral symphonies of launeddas and melodies played by local artists, the collection and transformation of products food and wine, guided tours of archaeological sites, Sardinian dance lessons with the participation of local folk groups.

Guided tours will be organized at the archaeological sites and brief on-site conferences by archaeologists and experts, Sardinian craft workshops, traditional Sardinian cuisine, photography , involvement of participants in the collection of products and their transformation to discover agricultural practices rediscovery of ancient crafts: preparation and tasting of local food and wine products, "orienteering" lessons and ecological walks, Sardinian dance lessons with local folk groups and traditional Sardinian musical entertainment with local musicians.

Through the event you will   promote and enhance the archaeological sites, keeping alive the identity of Trexenta and thus safeguard and encourage the cultural heritage of the next generations, promoting the dissemination of knowledge of the territory in a sustainable and culturally oriented way to "experiential tourism", through the direct participation of the visitor, through workshops that help rediscover ancient knowledge and flavors and guaranteeing the satisfaction of the participants.
