Tragedy in Macchiareddu: he lights a brazier to warm himself and dies from the fumes

Tragedy in Macchiareddu. A man was found dead this morning in a business.

From initial information, the 62-year-old from Sarroch was sleeping in the company where he worked and, to keep warm, he had lit a brazier, then fell asleep.

A family member raised the alarm a short while ago when he saw him lifeless. The 118 doctors intervened on site and tried for a long time to resuscitate the 62-year-old, but everything was in vain.

The carabinieri from the Assemini station and the Cagliari Company were present on site and worked to reconstruct the dynamics of the tragedy.

The man apparently died from carbon monoxide fumes.
