They chose to reopen the Osteria Dè Mercati in Sassari on Valentine's Day "to celebrate Love in all its forms". The restaurant will reopen its doors in memory of its owner, Pietro "Lillo" Satta, who died at the age of 48 on January 25 during a fishing trip in the sea of Isola Rossa.
A tragic accident involving the 65-metre semi-cabin cruiser "Garupa", which occurred off the beach at Marinedda , in the municipality of Trinità d'Agultu, where his friend, Maurizio Rossi, a 71-year-old from Genoa, also lost his life, with both of them trapped in their vessel, which capsized after impacting a cliff, and dying instantly.
Tomorrow the restaurant will open to pay homage to Lillo, to his passion shared with his wife Federica Ghiani who announced with a post the restart of activities on a special day , that of Valentine's Day to keep his memory alive and to honor her husband's profession built over the years with love and so much sacrifice.
