Tourist fined for motorboating in Asinara waters

Using a tender equipped with an outboard motor, he entered the waters of Cala Barche Napoletane, in zone B of the Asinara Marine Protected Area, where there is an absolute ban on the transit of motorboats .

The tourist was identified and fined by the Carabinieri of the Asinara Station for violating the rules protecting the National Park.

The man had approached the area on a yacht, then took the dinghy and entered the body of water which is closed to preserve the ecosystem balance and marine fauna .
