A tourist from Padua fell while walking through the Gorropu canyon, injuring his leg. So bad that I can't walk again. The 118 was alerted and evaluated the opportunity to send the Areus helicopter to the site but the weather conditions, due to the mistral, did not allow it.

In Gorropu, late yesterday afternoon, the staff of the Alpine and Speleological Rescue arrived and recovered the 41-year-old.

Nine technicians from the Ogliastra and Nuoro stations stabilized and packed the man and, after an hour and a half of transport with the sedan chair technique, they arrived at the parking lot where the ambulance was waiting for them to be transported to the hospital. The intervention ended at 11.30 pm yesterday.
