Tortolì, the seals on the Sa Tanca kiosk have been removed: it had been seized in June.

The release of the Sa Tanca kiosk-bar comes as the tourist season is winding down . The panel of judges of the Criminal Division of the Lanusei Court (president Nicola Caschili, with Andrea Rambelli and Gianluca Pro as assistants) accepted the appeal of attorney Gennaro Di Michele, representing Angela Orrù, owner of the establishment located near the first beach in Orrì.

The lawyer had filed the appeal after the investigating judge, a few days after the seizure of the business, had confirmed the original decision that had led to the forced closure on June 26th. On that occasion, the military personnel from the naval section of the Guardia di Finanza in Arbatax had placed the seals as a precaution due to (alleged) bureaucratic irregularities : according to the Guardia di Finanza investigators, the kiosk's landscape permits had expired .

The renewal application, submitted in previous months, was put on hold because the facilities were deemed inappropriate for the Coastal Use Plan that the Municipality of Tortolì approved last year. This summer, other seasonal businesses also came under the scrutiny of investigators. A similar situation involving Sa Tanca also involved the Frontemare kiosk and bar, also on the Orrì coast. It was initially sealed off and then released a few days later following an appeal by lawyer Vito Cofano.
