A dead dolphin was found in the early afternoon on the Golfetto beach, along the Tortolì coast.

Some people who had gone to the beach for a walk noticed it. The carcass of the mammal had already been attacked by some stray dogs.

The competent authorities are expected on the spot for the removal of the carcass, in an advanced state of decomposition: the dolphin is missing its eyes and tail fin.

It is probable that the animal was cannibalized by some sea predator before the currents carried it to the beach.
