The national spotlight continues on the Todde case. Yesterday, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni also spoke about it: " I'm not the type to rejoice if someone who wins elections is then dismissed for bureaucratic or judicial reasons ," she said during the traditional press conference at the beginning of the year. In Cagliari, meanwhile, the incessant work of the President of the Regional Council, the leaders of Campo Largo and the many legal consultants involved continues to find a way out and avert the dissolution of the entire Sardinian Assembly due to the possible dismissal of the President of the Region . But this, as recommended by Piero Comandini, must not stop the work of the commissions where, in the meantime, the majority is also starting to think concretely about the opportunity to discuss and approve the 2025 Financial Act before the functional reform of Healthcare .

In the meantime, the Cagliari Public Prosecutor's Office has begun investigations into the documents transmitted by the Electoral Guarantee Board of the Court of Appeal regarding the financial report of the President of the Sardinian Region, Alessandra Todde.

For the moment, the Prosecutor's Office has not formulated any hypothesis of a crime , even if the Board of Guarantee seems to lean towards a forgery deriving from the contradiction between the initially filed financial statement (where approximately 90 thousand euros of expenses and the same amount of financing were declared) with a memorandum in which the president assured "on her honour that she had not incurred expenses, assumed obligations or received contributions and/or services, nor that she had made use of propaganda materials and means made available by the party or political formation".
