Three people are suspected of beating a 52-year-old bricklayer from Sorso, who was attacked on Christmas Eve in front of a club on Viale Marina, not far from the emergency medical center on Via Dessì. He was found unconscious there on December 24th, around 11:30 PM, when the call to 112 was received. When the Carabinieri patrol from the Porto Torres mobile radio unit and 118 operators arrived, they found the man lying on the ground and unconscious.

He suffered a deep head wound, facial injuries, particularly to his left eye, and was bleeding from one ear. The 52-year-old is in a partially induced coma in the intensive care unit of Sassari Civil Hospital. His condition is serious but stable. He is being monitored by doctors who are concerned about his severe head trauma.

The police, investigating the incident, have reviewed surveillance footage that appears to show the victim trying to walk to the emergency medical center before collapsing to the ground. It's possible the man was also hit by a car after being beaten.
