Three poorly preserved rifles and one without serial number: Lunamatrona pensioner in trouble

The Carabinieri of the Lunamatrona Station reported a 67-year-old local pensioner at large for failure to store weapons and failure to report possession.
The military, after having inspected the man's home, found serious irregularities in the storage methods of three regularly registered rifles (a 16-gauge double-barrelled shotgun, a 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun and a 4.5-gauge air rifle) and also found a 26-gauge muzzle-loading shotgun without a serial number, which had never been reported.
The weapons were immediately seized and handed over to the local offices of the Arma, while the title enabling their possession was withdrawn. The Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Cagliari was informed of the incident, which will evaluate further determinations on the matter.
