The big party started well before the start.

From every part of Cagliari, leaving their cars where possible, thousands of women have slowly swelled the salmon-colored river of the seventh SoloWomenRun.

At the Fair, the starting point, they came from all over the island, some by train, some by bus. Such was the desire to re-embrace the running and solidarity event that was returning after three years , that in two months twelve thousand registrations were burned (11,800 for the 4.5 km recreational walk, 200 for the 9-km competitive Challenge) available from the organizers.

The human wall that quickly formed close to the starting line was impressive. A fragile dam, which at 9.30 poured onto Viale Diaz a flood of women happy to be present to testify to the ability to unite not only to run or walk, but above all to carry out solidarity projects.

And so it will be this year too. Among those presented by the 50 registered associations, three will be the winners of the Charity Goal and will be funded.

The event's media partner is L'Unione Sarda , with Videolina providing extensive coverage of the event on the news and Radiolina entertaining the participants with music and dancing.
