Vandal raid in the cemetery of Sorso.

Thugs in action during the night in the village cemetery, where they emptied some graves, depriving them of sacred objects, some thrown to the ground. Some photos of the deceased were also destroyed and torn along with several statues of the Madonna. Around them bottles of liquor abandoned near the violated graves.

Following the report, the local carabinieri intervened on the spot under the command of Marshal Gianluca Porqueddu.

"I am stunned by a profanatory and ignoble act that offends the dignity of a sacred place and with it the memory of our deceased loved ones and the feelings of families and the entire community - is the comment of the mayor of Sorso, Fabrizio Demelas - I I hope that those responsible will be identified as soon as possible ".

In the meantime, the military, who started the investigation after hearing some witnesses, are viewing the cameras positioned nearby in order to trace the perpetrators of the vandal and profanatory act.
