Tragedy struck in Settimo San Pietro, where a four-month-old baby died at home from asphyxiation, possibly caused by being trapped between the bed and a piece of furniture.

The mother made the discovery with the immediate arrival of an ambulance with paramedics who spent over half an hour trying to save the baby with artificial respiration.

There was also a desperate attempt to hospitalize the bumblebee at Brotzu, where unfortunately he arrived dead. The Sinnai Carabinieri were also on site.

The exact circumstances remain unclear, although the possibility of crushing between the bed and the piece of furniture has not been ruled out. The child was not injured.

A tragedy that occurred last night has shocked a well-known and respected family and the entire country. Everyone's grief is truly understandable.
