They got lost during an excursion in the Supramonte di Oliena.

Hours of fear for two hikers who, while walking a path towards the Pentumas canyon , lost their orientation.

Luckily for them the point where they stopped had telephone coverage, so they were able to call for help who promptly located them.

The Operations Center of the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps of Sardinia was alerted from 118 to 19 last night.

Four technicians immediately left the Nuoro station, assisted by three other men from the Alpine Rescue of the Guardia di Finanza .

The intervention ended almost at 1 am , when the rescuers reached the hikers and, once they had checked their good health, they accompanied them to their cars.
