Theft of a defibrillator in Tortolì, a 33-year-old identified

The defibrillator stolen last September from the Tortolì municipal building has been found.

The police have reported a 33-year-old Moroccan national with no fixed address for aggravated theft.

The device had been removed from a display case. It was September 22nd when the pro tempore president of the municipal Avis reported the disappearance to the military who had started the investigation. Video surveillance footage from the area was examined and information was acquired which made it possible to identify the 33-year-old and the place where he had hidden the defibrillator, now returned to the community.
