In about a year of inactivity, a total of 550 unanswered applications had accumulated, with patients from all over the province waiting for the call to undergo visits from the civil disability commissions of the Oristano local health authority. But now, after a long wait and complaints, the good news is that the summons for the recognition of invalidity have restarted, with the assurance that everyone will be called quickly, comes from the general manager of the Oristano local health authority Angelo Serusi. A problem that already at the time of his inauguration he had found himself in hand and which now seems destined for a solution.

“On 3 November the resolution was signed to update the list of members of the medical commissions - Serusi points out - which could not meet because some doctors who were part of them had retired or had moved. Thanks to the long and demanding work of reconnaissance and replacement of the missing figures carried out by the prevention department, now that the commissions have been reconstituted in their entirety, work will begin again at full speed". The general manager also announces the territorial strengthening of the commissions which now they have become 12. "To the historical ones of Oristano , Ghilarza and Ales - underlines Serusi - new commissions have been added in Terralba and Bosa, to allow the inhabitants of the respective territories not to have to travel to undergo the visit".
