The Santa Teresa-Bonifacio route will be operated from next December 16 by the Ichnusa ferry, putting an end to the inconveniences of recent times.

This is what was decided at the end of a meeting, which was held this morning via videoconference, between the regional councilor for transport, Giorgio Todde, and the leaders of Moby, which guarantees the connection between Sardinia and Corsica.

"To unblock a situation that is now unsustainable - comments Councilor Todde - the pressing of the Region on the company was decisive. The Councilorship has constantly followed the story, urging a quick solution to eliminate the inefficiencies reported above all after the heavy damage accused last month from the Bastia ferry, a breakdown that had serious repercussions on the regular service of a fundamental connection for all passengers and even more so for hauliers. The company has thus decided to charter the Ichnusa ferry, a certainly more reliable and more suitable for commercial traffic, which will be operational from 16 December ".
