They wanted to leave by ship from Olbia, towards Livorno, with an envelope of stones and sand .
But the two, a couple of Italian tourists with a minor child, were stopped during the inspections of passengers embarking from the Isola Bianca port by agents of the Port System Authority of the Sea of Sardinia.
The stolen goods had been taken from the beaches of Cannigione and was well hidden in the trunk of the car, the sand in particular was hidden in a spray container of tanning cream .
The two were reported to the Olbia operational section of the Customs and Monopoly Agency.
At the same boarding, at 11 am, two couples of Brescian tourists were stopped with a plastic container containing stones taken from the beaches of Villasimius and a German with a bag of shells .
Last Tuesday, also at the port of Olbia, two tourists were stopped with a one-meter example of Pinna Nobilis.
