First from Oristano to Nuoro. Then to Ozieri. Bad adventure for an eighteen-year-old from Oristano who on Christmas Eve had to travel countless kilometers before being visited by an orthopedist due to severe swelling in her ankle.

The girl's mother, Cristiana Cadoni, recounts the misadventure that began in Oristano: « When I arrived at the San Martino emergency room, at midnight, the operators present at the triage told me that it was useless to wait because there was no orthopedist. At that point they told me that I had to reach either the Nuoro hospital or the San Gavino hospital."

The girl's mother asked the operators to check the waiting times in the two hospitals. In San Gavino it was seven hours, at which point Cristiana Cadoni reached the hospital in Nuoro.

«Once I arrived they told me that my daughter could not be visited because the orthopedist had been missing for years. And they sent me to Ozieri. Moral of the story: I traveled until seven in the morning with a girl in pain. I'm young and I can move around, but what about a person of a certain age? It's not fair to be bounced from one hospital to another. This is a spatial disservice. I will report my story to the Sick Court and to the personnel office."
