Continuous blackouts have been occurring for several days in Costa Rei and beyond. This has led to a series of service disruptions, including those related to water supply.

This situation is no longer tolerable for Muravera Mayor Francesca Mattana, who wrote a note to Enel Distribuzione: "The disruptions we've encountered, linked to the evident strain on local grid infrastructure," she emphasized, "are causing significant inconvenience to residents and our guests, and are seriously detrimental to the local economy."

"Just two days ago, part of Costa Rei was left without water due to a fault in the electrical system supplying the water tanks," he writes. "Furthermore, for two consecutive evenings starting around 8:30 PM, another part of the town was affected by prolonged blackouts, causing significant inconvenience to residents and numerous hospitality and restaurant businesses."

Enel Distribuzione is asked to "schedule a technical meeting with our administration as soon as possible and to arrange for the necessary urgent inspection, maintenance, and upgrade of local electricity infrastructure." Mattana, finally, noted that "at the beginning of the year, the city center and the surrounding villages also had to deal with a series of power outages."
