They announced it a week ago, now the work has been completed and the chromatic aquarium of Manu Invisibile welcomes in all respects children from the Pediatrics department of the Oristano hospital .

A large blue sea with many fish in the waiting room of the department. A fish larger than the others, yellow and orange, stands out on the door of the department.

This morning the aquarium was presented to healthcare personnel and a group of children accompanied by their parents. The work transforms the waiting room of the Pediatrics department directed by Dr. Enrica Paderi .

The objective is to create a visual-sensory path that facilitates the reception of young patients, making their arrival at the hospital less traumatic . The initiative was supported by Patrick Abbate, leader of the Patrick&Friends group, his wife Staley Abbate and the “Belle Donne” association of Oristano, chaired by Maria Cadeddu.

"It feels like being in the middle of the sea", commented the children, literally enchanted . «I take away a memory – comments the artist – not made of images. I am very satisfied in technical terms, but above all in experiential terms, because you in the department adopted me for seven days of my life and made this job incredibly easier. Your courtesy and hospitality contributed, in synergy, to the final result, which we now see. And it is this life experience that I will carry with me."

Manu Invisibile spent a long time with the little patients, answering their questions: «The colors – he added – will now embrace the children's spirit of terror linked to the hospital environment and turn it upside down. A perspective of hope."

Doctor Paderi's words: «It was a beautiful week of mutual enrichment, with a wonderful person. Behind the mask lies a truly great person. Now this department is really much more colorful and it will be for all the children who come to visit us ."

Even the director of ASL 5 Angelo Maria Serusi thanked Manu Invisibile "for his art, his work and for his great humanity".
