The hangars, the flagship of Meridiana's Maintenance sector, abandoned after the closure of Air Italy, are reopening at Olbia airport.
The new company, aimed at the business sector and private jets in general, bears the signature of Atitech, a giant in the sector, in partnership with Geasar, owner of the hangars. The project was illustrated by the president of the company Gianni Lettieri.
Olbia's maintenance sector is changing its face and will no longer be aimed at airliners but at the business sector, a growing market. When fully operational, Lettieri explained, 350 jobs are expected, drawing primarily on former Air Italy workers and investing in specialized training. Present at the inauguration were the vice president of the Region Giuseppe Meloni and the councilors Barbara Manca and Desirè Manca.
