Fear is growing in Mulinu Becciu where the man who, hooded and dressed in black , has been seen again, has been wandering around the streets of the Cagliari neighborhood for some time now . Many call him "the maniac ", even if his identity - for now - remains a mystery. The last sighting dates back to last night when two girls crossed paths with him on the street, later reporting the incident on social media, in an attempt to alert the neighborhood: "He was under the stairs of the apartment building on Via Borromini and then we saw him while he was trying to hide in the little street next to the building".
The young women followed his movements carefully, trying not to lose sight of him, managing to reconstruct a good part of his movements: "He was hidden behind a car in via Gherardo delle notti in front of the park, then he started running in the countryside opposite that leads to via Carpaccio". When the police were called, the man "had time to escape this time too".
The description of “mister x” coincides with those already given in the past by other people who met him: «He was a man dressed all in black, hooded, and it seemed like he had his face covered as if he was wearing a neck warmer that covered his face, quite thin and about 1 meter and 70 tall». Finally the appeal: «I beg you, anyone who is in the area and sees something or someone suspicious, call the police immediately or do something because we cannot live like this, we are terrified, we are young and it is not right that we are afraid because people like this are walking around the streets».
Another testimony is added to the appeal on the web. The area remains the same, people (perhaps) too: «Sighted in via Giotto a couple of days ago, he was also wearing black gloves, he followed me for a while but he stopped approaching because I had dogs. I couldn't call the police because I didn't have a cell phone».
