A blitz of a few minutes : the arrival by car, a black Giulietta , the sliding door of the supermarket opened with a crowbar , the raid inside to remove the safe and the escape in the car a few moments before the intervention of the Police . This is the robbery carried out at around 4.30 by two bandits who targeted the “Tutti i Giorni” store on Viale Poetto in Cagliari .
The first to arrive were the Flying Squad officers : they carried out the investigations. A matter of sixty seconds and the police officers, alerted by the Alarm System operations center that manages the supermarket's video surveillance system, would have encountered the thieves who acted hooded and with gloves.
The loot was initially thought to be a high sum, but in reality the money in the safe was 4,000 euros .
This morning the business was open as usual.
The investigations into the robbery are being carried out by detectives from the Flying Squad . It is almost certainly the same gang that has carried out several supermarket robberies in recent months , always targeting the safe.
The search for the car began immediately. The license plate number was also recovered , but it belongs to an Opel, which was found to be stolen.
"We have never had any problems," commented Stefano Mostallino, manager of the store on Viale Poetto. "Our business closes late and reopens very early. The damage is very limited. The loot? Luckily it's a low figure."
