The kids inside. They first outside, to lower themselves from the roof, then inside, in the accessible departments, to bring comfort and smiles. The show of acrobatic Super Heroes was staged this morning at the Microcitemico hospital in Cagliari . Batman, Thor, Superman, Spider-Man, Ironman and companions descended from the roof of the hospital attached to the ropes and passed in front of the bedroom windows of the little patients.

An initiative of the Sea association (non-profit), which travels pediatric healthcare facilities throughout Italy to give moments of joy to young patients.

Many children who also attended from the hospital square in via Jenner.

«It was our first time in Sardinia», says Alessia Uccello, responsible for organizing the association's events, «we started from the Bambin Gesù in Rome, then the Gaslini. And today Cagliari».

No improvisation: «The volunteers who descend are all workers specialized in acrobatic construction», underlines Uccello, «the idea came about when they dressed up as Santa Claus for the children of company employees. And we thought: why not do the same thing for hospitalized children, who stay in hospital for long periods?». Said and done: there have been around a hundred events since the association was born.

The contact for the Cagliari hospital was Manuela Faa, who organized the photographic exhibition "Wings, eyes, heart" set up in the hospital atrium and created thanks to the contribution of 20 Sardinian photographers.
The set-up is present at the entrance of the pediatric unit: all the donations collected in the time frame in which the exhibition will be open to visitors, up until today, will be donated to the Pediatric Oncohematology Department of Microcitemico.
