The mayors of Sardinia take measures in the wake of the new wave of coronavirus infections also with the Omicron variant and issue the first ordinances relating to schools, with the forecast of the resumption of lessons after the Epiphany bridge.

In Ghilarza , lessons will be stopped from 7 to 15 January in kindergartens, primary and lower secondary schools, and in public and private kindergartens. In Desulo, face- to-face teaching activities will resume on January 14, and no lessons (not even in Dad) until 10.

In Tempio Pausania, the first citizen ordered that all kindergartens, primary, first and second grade schools remain closed on 7 and 8 January. The schools will reopen on 10 January also in Arzachena , while in Berchidda the suspension of teaching activities in presence for schools of all levels will last until 11 January.

In Tissi , kindergarten, primary and lower secondary school closed on day 7 and screening campaigns in schools. Lessons resumed on the 10th also in Muros and Chiaramonti .

In Macomer, face- to-face teaching has been suspended for Friday and Saturday, and therefore all city schools will be closed, activating remote teaching.
