Michele and Vincenzo Zagaria from Casale, Salvatore Casamonica from Rome, Salvatore Madonia from Palermo and the ruthless Corleonese killer Leoluca Bagarella .

These are some of the 85 prisoners under the 41 bis regime in the Sassari prison of Bancali , the same one where the anarchist Alfredo Cospito was held up to three days ago, now transferred to the Opera.

However, only four names would be contained in the report provided by the Prison Administration Department to the cabinet office of the Ministry of Justice and to the undersecretary with responsibility for prisons Andrea Delmastro: in addition to Cospito, the people cited would be Pietro Rampulla, Pino Cammarata, Francesco Di Maio and Francesco Presta . Among these, the name of Rampulla stands out, nicknamed the bomb squad for his familiarity with explosives, with a past as a black extremist and indicated as one of the perpetrators of the Capaci massacre: according to the investigations of the time, he arranged the final charge together with the Brusca's cousin.

The report would contain the contacts and conversations picked up reported by the Mobile Operational Group that the anarchist would have had during his hour of free time with the so-called "ladies in waiting", i.e. the individual prisoners chosen for the only moment of sociality , which it takes place between two people in the courtyard of a few square meters of the Bancali prison. The choice can be made in groups of four at most, in rotation.

In Bancali there are 85 of the 728 detainees throughout Italy in the 41 bis hard prison (this is the number that results from the last report of the ministry on the administration of Justice in 2022, of which only four for terrorism).

We find former superboss of the Mafia, the 'Ndrangheta and the Camorra , confined in cells that are located in the center of the white and green structure, arranged in a honeycomb, like a beehive, where each corridor does not cross with the other and is just fifty meters long.

One of the last to leave the 41 bis from Sassari was Aldo Ercolano, the Catania boss and nephew of Nitto Santapaola, who was transferred to a highly supervised regime about a year ago. Inside there are still other excellent names of organized crime, such as Valentino Gionta, capoclan of Torre Annunziata, prominent 'Ndrangheta members such as Francesco Pesce of Rosarno, Domenico Gallico of Palmi and Antonio Pelle of San Luca .
