The Cagliaritano burns: fires in Capoterra, Villaspeciosa and Assemini

Civil protection and firefighters engaged for a few hours in Capoterra , in particular in the Macchiareddu area, where a fire of probable arson developed. Firefighters and volunteers from the Santa Barbara group intervened on the spot. The flames also touched some structures, but no particular damage was reported.

Also in the afternoon in Cagliari there were two other fires , one in the countryside of Villaspeciosa and the other in Assemini , where the fire attacked some greenhouses, even threatening a house. In this center the flames affected an area in the Santa Lucia area. During the shutdown operations Corso Africa was closed to traffic.

The reclamation operations were completed around 5.30 pm.
