The events linked to Cap d'Any 2024 continue in Alghero . We are heading towards the Epiphany in a city that maintains its tradition with the initiative of the Epiphany in Piazza Pino Piras together with the firefighters for an event of pure fun for children and adults.

On Saturday 6 January, many will be waiting for the old lady of the firefighters of the provincial command of Sassari, "Antonietta", an ugly but nice Befana .

With the help of Alghero's red helmets and his broom, he will bring a mountain of sweets to the delight of the children present in the square.

This year the initiative will be dedicated to the firefighter Rino Tedde who passed away a few years ago . For the colleagues of the detachment in via Napoli in Alghero «it is the least we can do because Rino, as well as head of the Fire Brigade department, including some political commitments, was the pioneer regarding social commitments aimed above all at children , through the association of retired firefighters.
