In the villages of Campanedda, Palmadula, Corte and Argentiera, the new year begins with continuity of care . The District of Sassari , in concert with the management of the Local Health Authority, has started talks with the new general practitioners to open a clinic in at least one of the hamlets of Sassari as was illustrated to the five doctors who recently took up service.

The outpatient clinic in the villages can also be guaranteed at the same time as that of the city , furthermore paths are being studied with the municipal administration and with the associations of the area in order to be able to make available to doctors , who could also operate in aggregate form, the surgeries. The doctors will have until the end of January to give an answer to the social-health company.

In the meantime , the ASL, with the aim of reducing the discomfort for the population, is interfacing with the medical guards to acquire their willingness to go to the clinics available in the villages as early as early January, in order to guarantee the continuity of care service to resident people. If none of the general practitioners offers their availability, the District of Sassari, with the offices of the affiliated medicine, will ban, in March, the notices of the deficient offices of the territorial areas, such as Castelsardo, Porto Torres and Laerru , making it mandatory for the Sassari site to open clinics also in the villages of Campanedda, Palmadula, La Corte and Argentiera.
