Dramatic validation interrogation this afternoon in Tempio Pausania for Fabio Malu, arrested by the Carabinieri on charges of having killed his rival Davide Unida by hitting him violently on the head with a metal pipe.

The events took place in Luras in the late evening of Saturday 8 July. Malu, assisted by the lawyers Salvatore Diana and Filippo Orecchioni, is under investigation for voluntary homicide. He answered all the questions of judge Caterina Interlandi and pm Sara Martino. "I didn't want to kill Unida": Fabio Malu said, claiming he was provoked. In any case, he ruled out having gone to his home to take the blunt object with the intention of wanting to kill Unida.

Malu explained that the disagreements with the victim began at least ten years ago. Now the investigating judge must decide whether to order the prison measure for the Lurese. This morning the coroner Salvatore Lorenzoni performed an autopsy on the victim's body, numerous head injuries were found, one of which, however, could also have been caused by a fall.
