The name of his faculty was brought up in the investigation by the Prosecutor of the Republic of Cagliari opened to shed light on the relationship between the governor and Roberto Raimondi, now former general manager of the office of the Eni Cbs authority, which manages substantial funds intended for Euro-Mediterranean policies: the assignment was revoked during the last board meeting, when the news of the investigation had become public knowledge.

According to the deputy prosecutor Giangiacomo Pilia, the position had been assigned to Raimondi in exchange for an honorary degree in Medicine from a university in Tirana to the president of the Region, followed by teaching at the Albanian university: from the curriculum, it emerges that Raimondi would have instead a chair beyond the Adriatic.

According to the prosecutor's office, the same scheme would also have been used in another Roman faculty where the Guardia di Finanza of Cagliari has already carried out searches. According to the investigators, the intermediary of the operation would have been Solinas' consultant, Christian Stevelli.

From Albania only taken away. While the case is covered by the main private TV channels in the country.
