A bouquet of roses and violets in one hand. In the other, a potted plant. And it wasn't the wildflowers that attracted the attention of the Sardara carabinieri, when they saw a 59-year-old unemployed man, known from their offices, walking along Via Vespucci.

They stopped him. And they discovered that he was carrying Indian hemp: a small specimen, which would bear fruit (or rather, its inflorescences) in the future.

The military decided to investigate the matter further, with the search of the man's home: there were ten other cannabis seedlings here.

The material was confiscated and will soon be destroyed. For the fifty-nine year old, on the other hand, the complaint was made for cultivation and possession for the purpose of drug dealing.
