Tertenia: sa paradura for Adriano Foddis, the farmer whose 90 sheep were killed

On his land of Su Marchesu, between the town of Tertenia and the meadows of Quirra, the 44-year-old farmer received a visit from some owners of livestock farms based in Tertenia, Gairo, Perdasdefogu, Ulassai and Seui who delivered about forty sheep, sacks of feed, bales of hay and cash donations .

A rampant solidarity towards their colleague who, a week ago, was the victim of an act of vandalism in his sheepfold: unknown people slaughtered 90 sheep for him . In Su Marchesu the slow procession of trucks loaded with livestock was welcomed by Adriano Foddis and his family who, moved, thanked anyone who came to meet them in a moment of suffering .

Last week in Foddis 90 sheep were killed inside the fold. Some have been slaughtered, others disembowelled with a knife. A real massacre. Cold and ruthless deeds. Investigations are underway by the carabinieri of Jerzu's company into the matter.
