Manca murder, the investigation widens. According to the Oristano Prosecutor's Office , Battista Manis, until two days ago the only suspect in the murder of Claudio Manca, did not act alone on the night of September 24th of last year. With the businessman on the Terralba ring road were also his wife Claudia Abis, 46 years old, and his son Pietro Paolo Manis (26). Each one apparently had a different role, but one that cost them all the very serious charge of voluntary homicide. The public prosecutor Marco De Crescenzo has requested that they all be sent for trial.

According to prosecutor De Crescenzo, Claudia Abis was driving the Volkswagen Golf that evening, in the car with her husband and son. They were traveling along State Road 126 from Arcidano to Terralba when they encountered Manca on his bike. According to investigators, the car was also behind him when the 49-year-old turned onto the ring road. At the canal, the sudden swerve occurred: the Volkswagen hit the bike, and Manca fell to the ground. Manis then apparently got out of the car and began violently hitting his rival, aided by his son. He then attacked him .They would have left him dying in the ditch, and they would have driven away by car.

This is the prosecution's reconstruction. Battista Manis (held in Sassari prison and defended by lawyers Antonio Pinna Spada and Luigi Porcella) , Claudia Abis, and her son Pietro Paolo (assisted by Roberto Nati and Anna Maria Uras) will now appear before the preliminary hearing judge on Wednesday the 23rd. Manca's family, his parents, and a sister, are being represented by lawyer Fabio Costa.
