Tensions are rising within the Alghero City Council, particularly between the two Democratic Party councilors.

The Councilor for Culture, Innovation and Digital Transition , Raffaella Sanna, reportedly sent a communication to Mayor Raimondo Cacciotto and the Secretary General of the Municipality, Rita Fonnesu, complaining about behavior deemed inappropriate by her colleague in the Municipal Board, Enrico Daga .

Verbal assaults and insults, including in front of the mayor himself, are said to have prompted the councilor's report. However, these are content matters on which the individuals directly involved have not yet issued an official statement.

When contacted about the matter, Raffaella Sanna stated that she did not wish to comment. Enrico Daga, for his part, when asked, stated that he was unaware of the matter.

The tensions appear to be taking place at a delicate stage in internal relations within the Alghero Democratic Party , where speculation about possible changes in the council's representation has been circulating for some time. These rumors have been circulating for weeks now.
