Temperatures collapse, Sassari turns the heating back on

Spring has arrived, but only on the calendar: temperatures return to winter regimes and in certain parts of the island there is even snow again. The new April cold is also felt in Sassari , where the Municipality has decided to restore the possibility of turning on the heating in homes, at least for a week.

With an ordinance, in fact, here is the go-ahead for radiators in homes, but only for four hours a day , until 10 April: a choice made also in consideration of the two weeks less authorization for operation this year, for energy saving reasons.

But "the weather forecasts for the current week", reads the ordinance, "report a sharp drop in temperatures in the evening and at night", and therefore the heating will be turned on again for four hours, until Friday, even in public offices and schools .
