Sunday with strong thunderstorms in northern Sardinia: there is an alert notice

A Sunday of meteorological instability is expected in northern Sardinia: the regional Civil Protection has issued a yellow alert for Gallura and Logudoro , territories that will be crossed by a disturbance starting in the afternoon.

According to the Arpas forecasts on the Island, "cloudy skies with a progressive increase in cloud cover are expected. Isolated to scattered precipitation, including showers or thunderstorms, with locally moderate cumulative amounts in the second part of the day. Possible isolated strong thunderstorms in the afternoon in the northern sector".

Minimum temperatures will slightly increase, while maximum temperatures are expected to moderately decrease in the western sector, but will remain stable elsewhere.

The winds will be light, mostly variable, tending to move from the western quadrants from late evening.
