A summit will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Cagliari Metropolitan City headquarters to discuss traffic conditions on the roads affected by Terna's work to lay the underground cables for the Tyrrhenian Link.

The meeting, open to interested administrations, was convened by the deputy mayor of the Metropolitan City, Barbara Pusceddu, mayor of Sinnai, a municipality particularly affected by the problem, like those of Settimo and Maracalagonis.

So far, the affected roads have been reduced to a terrible condition, which is causing widespread protests among motorists.

The issue will also be at the center of the Sinnai City Council debate, convened on Friday to discuss a question from the minority council, particularly critical of the Settimo-Sinnai-Maracalagonis ring road, whose roadway has been severely damaged by excavations carried out so far and yet to be completed.

Protests also erupted in Maracalagonis. Everyone is demanding a complete resurfacing of the roadway to make traffic truly safe.
