The wave of petty crime episodes that has overwhelmed Cagliari has also raised the alarm among the institutions.
Stabbings on the bus, fights between gangs in the center, brawls in the nightlife venues, tensions between young riders. More or less violent bloodshed that will be at the center of a meeting of the committee for security and public order called by the Prefect Giuseppe Castaldo, which could be held as early as Wednesday: "We will evaluate together with the municipal administration whether to implement further initiatives", says the representative of the Viminale, "to increase the security system".
On the other hand, Mayor Massimo Zedda speaks of a "critical situation last weekend" but is keen to underline: "All those who were guilty of crimes were arrested. An aspect that is not important, because this is the maximum deterrent: if you violate the freedom of others, damage things or cause offences to people, you are arrested".
