Summer storms are arriving on the heat-stricken island: warning issued this afternoon.

In a Sardinia besieged by the heat, the classic summer storms make an appearance.

Heavy rain with possible thunderstorms is expected on the island this afternoon, so much so that the Civil Protection has issued a weather alert valid from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

The yellow code warning applies to almost the entire island, with the exception of the Iglesiente and Campidano areas, which also include the Cagliari area.

Precipitation with possible thunderstorms is expected in the rest of the region.
