For ten days the sea south of Sardinia (offshore) is declared dangerous. The warning is from the Coast Guard and is linked to "submarine activity in immersion": at the request of the Navy it was "necessary to regulate the sea area affected by the exercise for reasons of navigation safety and protection of human life at sea as well as to protect public safety".
The area affected, according to the coordinates, goes from the island of San Pietro to Terra Mala and extends for many miles off the coast of Teulada and the Golfo degli Angeli.
From May 14 to 24, the enormous space indicated "is declared dangerous for maritime navigation and the mooring of units in general, as well as for fishing and all activities connected to the use of the sea. The units in navigation", continues the ordinance, "must proceed with particular attention, evaluating the adoption of any additional measures suggested by good seamanship, in order to prevent potential dangerous situations".
