Tragedy touched in the Norantunu area, in the territory of Arzana, where a 61-year-old man was rescued at the last minute by the Lanusei Fire Brigade of the Nuoro Command, after his off-road vehicle was overwhelmed by the water of the Rio Quirra in flood .

To get to safety, the man climbed onto the roof of the vehicle, waiting for help.

The men of 115, the Divers from the Cagliari Command, an operational team from the San Vito detachment and also the Drago helicopter from the Alghero Flight Department intervened promptly on the spot.

The 61-year-old was thus rescued. He was not injured, but was found in a state of great agitation due to the danger.
The firefighters themselves then went into action in the area to rescue some flocks.
