Stopped with 74 thousand euros in cash in the car, he had 45 kilos of marijuana at home

He was traveling in his car with 74 thousand euros in cash, the origin of which he was unable to justify. A man was stopped at a checkpoint by agents from the Nuoro Police Headquarters who wanted to know clearly where the money came from.

During a subsequent search of his home, 45 kilograms of marijuana were discovered. The thirty-eight year old, originally from Nuoro, was then arrested for possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of dealing and, after validation by the investigating judge, he is under house arrest.

The drugs were hidden inside large plastic bins. Now the investigations continue to try to identify any accomplices and the drug distribution network.
