The "Water Presidium" set up on 20 July by the Municipality of Stintino and the Fire Brigade, on the coast of the Saline up to the Ezzi Mannune area, showed all its efficiency this morning. A first intervention made it possible to save a surfer who fell off his board and swam in difficulty off the coast of the Gulf of Asinara .
A second rescue operation involved a family of five who, having got on the pedal boat, had ventured too far off the coast of La Pelosa beach, without being able to return. All were rescued without any consequences. The service dedicated to coastal prevention and safety during the months of July and August allows for the protection of coastal waters and swimmers, guaranteeing timely and targeted action in the event of emergencies.
The Fire Brigade is equipped with state-of-the-art means, including jet skis and dinghies, to constantly monitor the coastal areas and intervene promptly if necessary.
